The Bayliner 642 Cuddy is a small cruiser that handles overnight stays with comfort while still maintaining a little day boat versatility for family and friends. At 6.53 meters long, there is ample space aboard for cruising, fishing and entertaining with Bayliner’s sleek looks, beam forward design and ‘L’ shaped lounge in the cockpit at the centre of the design.

Internally, the 642 cockpit features an innovative L-shaped seating that significantly increases useful space in the cockpit area beyond what you will find in a typical stern bench seat configurations seen in virtually all cuddy sport boats this size. By incorporating a sliding forward backrest for the companion seat they have allowed users to switch from a forward facing seat to an aft facing lounger perfect for relaxing, watching the kids paddle around off the stern when anchored or spotting for watersports. The optional table creates a comfortable entertainer with the helm seat spaced to allow it to swing around and join the group.

Elsewhere, a walkway to the swim platform is to the starboard side and a sun pad sits across the aft of the boat behind the rear bench style seating. There is also an optional sun pad for the bow which sits between the moulded skylights above the cabin. Storage for cushions and other bits and pieces is located under the passenger lounge, in the cockpit floor and around the engine bay which is a neat place to store wetsuits and bathers.

The cuddy itself is light courtesy of a two sunlights moulded into the deck above. An optional portable head sits beneath the cushions which provide enough space for two adults to sleep in comfort.

Topside, the helm is simple and by using four-in-one gauges, space has been saved allowing room for a large gps unit should the owner require it. The optional Sink and Transom Shower offer owners a sink to port, pressure water, faucet and transom shower. Perfect for washing off after a day in the water.

Other options to increase your comfort are the Camper Canvas package increasing your overnight capacity by allowing kids to sleep safely on the deck and the cuddy. The preferred equipment package is exactly as the name implies. It’s the most preferred items any owner would want and includes the snap-in carpet runners, a teak cockpit table, Porta-Potti, and stainless steel trim package.

Powered by the 220-hp 4.3L engine, the 642CU is perfect for families looking for a boat that entertains, is safe and has the versatility to partake in more spirited adventures and activities.
