Australia’s leading Brisbane Boat Show returns in full force for another year this month

Boat show season continues with the Brisbane Boat Show returning to the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre from 24 to 26 August 2018. In a celebration of all things boats, the Brisbane Boat Show caters to all degrees of boating enthusiasts; from flat out fanatics to those ‘testing the waters’ and looking to speak to an industry expert.

Running for over 50 years now, the Brisbane Boat Show attracts industry professionals, locals and tourists alike to its South Bank venue, filling over 20,000 square metres with pure boating joy. Satisfying the causal onlooker to the serious buyer, the Brisbane Boat Show is the one stop venue for all boaties.

At the centre of Australia’s boating manufacturing industry, over 500 vessels will be on display from 60 different organisations. From excellent locally made fishing vessels and family cruisers, together with products from overseas and all the necessary equipment, including electronics, safety equipment and fishing gear, boaties will be in boating paradise.

Andrew Fielding, Chairman with the Queensland Council of the Boating Industry Association has guaranteed that visitors will be seeing the best and latest designs at this year’s show, “boat manufacturing plays a big part of the Queensland economy and this event showcases the quality and innovation that Australia has to offer”.

The Brisbane Boat Show is not only the best place to see and purchase boats and boating equipment, but also offers a great weekend outing for the family, with plenty of entertainment such as the much-loved fishing masterclasses. With a commitment to safe boating, show organisers have also organised educational stands and demonstrations to help boaters of all levels, better understand how to stay safe and maximise their time on the water.
