Chaparral will launch two new models at the Melbourne Boat Show in 2018. Both are bow riders and  are appearing for the very first time in the Southern Hemisphere.

chaparralAt 21 feet in length, the long awaited 21 H2o Surf is an entry level wake surf boat with all the wake technology found in far more expensive boats.  It produces a clean surf wave up to 1 metre high. This is achieved via the incorporation of Malibu’s patented ‘Surf Gate’ device combined with a unique hull shape, built in ballast, on board Medallion surf computer and Volvo forward facing drive. Distributor, Aussie Boat Sales believe the 21 H2o Surf will be the only legitimate surf boat suitable for salt or fresh water use with a starting price in the sub $100,000 price range.

Also on display will be the first of the all new Premium SSX model range with the debut of the 247 SSX bow rider. This large platform wake surfing boat is bursting with the latest technology and showcasing Chaparrals trendsetting new designs. The 247SSx is the epitome of style and substance highlighting a new direction for Chaparral. It includes an onboard head discretely hidden behind door ahead of the passenger helm seat.

Scott O’Hare from Chaparral Australia said;

“Both of these new models are very different and they both highlight just how advanced Chaparral has become with their R&D. We are excited to have these brilliant new boats here in Australia for the first time, and we look forward to showing off the innovation and quality that comes with every Chaparral.   In the world’s most competitive market, it is hard enough making it to #1, but even harder to stay there; and that is what Chaparral have done with U.S market share over the last few years.”

Chaparral in their 54th year, are renowned for their ‘Salt Water Tough’ construction, designed with bay and coastal use in mind, but still at home in our inland waterways.  They are represented by Aussie Boat Sales in Williamstown, Vic who also have outboard and traditional stern drive models on display.

Aussie Boat Sales and Chaparral can be found at stand number E14.
