Club Marine have announced their winner in the Boatloads of Fun competition and the year has started brilliantly for Craig Butler, Vic with the news he’d won the grand prize.

The official handover of the prize package took place earlier this week, including the fully equipped, Mercury-powered Northbank 600C boat on a Mackay trailer, and an Isuzu D-MAX LS-T utility, valued jointly at more than $155,000.

It was a great way to celebrate the start of a new year and wrap up what has been a big 12 months for Club Marine.  Throughout 2017, they’ve given away three glamorous cruises with Australia’s adventure cruise specialists, True North Adventure Cruises.

Rigid inflatable boat specialist BRIG also offered two of its Falcon F360H tenders, which have no doubt added a new dimension two of their members.

And from fishing tackle specialists Shimano, they’ve handed over a massive $30,000 worth of high-quality gear.

Craig became a Boatloads of Fun entrant when he recently purchased a new Sea-Doo jetski from Melbourne Sea-Doo, insuring it with Club Marine, along with a subscription to Club Marine Magazine – and he was understandably ecstatic when he got the call.

“I can’t believe it! Thanks so much to Club Marine. It couldn’t have come at a better time. A real life-changer!” he said

All major prize partners were represented at the official handover at Northbank dealership, Melbourne Marine Centre in the Melbourne suburb of Hallam.

“Congratulations to Craig and his family,” said Club Marine CEO Simon McLean. “It’s great to be able to present our grand prize to such a great boating family. And I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank all of our great Boatloads of Fun grand prize partners, including Northbank, Isuzu, Mackay Trailers and Mercury Marine.”

The official handover can be viewed on Club Marine TV.

It certainly has been a big year for Club Marine and their valued members.
