Robed in gowns and dinner suits, the elite of the superyacht world gathered on 19 May 2018, at the chic Palazzo Vecchio in Florence, Italy, for the prestigious World Superyacht Awards 2018 and witnessed the CRN M/Y Constance 60m, receive the prestigious Voyager’s Award for their inspiring and original cruising itinerary across the Caribbean Sea and South Pacific. The magnificent event was hosted by Boat International Media and celebrates the design, engineering and construction of the world’s most elegant superyachts.

Constance set sail in early 2017, on an unforgettable journey for both her owner and family, including their four children. Together, they crossed over 32,000 kilometres, reaching dream locations such as The Bahamas, Cuba, The Cayman Islands, Panama Canal and Costa Rica. After cruising the travel brochure laden paradises of the Coco Islands and the Galapagos, Constance headed towards French Polynesia, The Cook Islands, Tonga and Fiji, before returning to their departure point of Florida in the United States of America.

Judges were not only considering Constance’s itinerary for the prize but also the originality of the family’s interactions and experiences along their eight month voyage.  On the CRN M/Y Constance 60m, memories were made to sail a lifetime.

The accolade was yet another honour for the longstanding Italian shipbuilder CRN, a company of the worldleading Ferretti Group. CRN specialises in the design and construction of fully-custom, steel and aluminium yachts up to 100 metres in length. In collaboration with design firm Zuccon International Project, Constance was created to cruise long distances in comfort and with class. Her cruising range exceeds 10,000 miles and 11 knots which makes crossing oceans across the Caribbean and South Pacific a breeze.

CRN and The Ferretti Group hold a coveted reputation in the luxury boating industry and the CRN M/Y Constance 60m is yet another confirmation that magic is what happens in their Italian shipyards.
