JL Audio have released a new 2.8-inch weatherproof, powered marine source unit. The MM50 is a high-performance, single-chassis, powered source unit with outstanding audio performance and advanced audio features, specifically designed for marine applications.

The unit has a 2.8 inch full colour LCD display. With a high brightness and separate day/night lighting and display themes, the unit is very intuitive to use. The backlit controls feature independent user settings for display brightness and remote brightness.

The MM50 is capable of controlling separate zones giving you complete command of your marine listening experience. It has a configurable master volume control with independent or linked zone 1 options. You can manage volume levels together or individually at any time. You can also set max volume limit for each zone. There is a built in 100 watt amplifier.

With a digital AM/FM tuner and RDS (Radio Data System) display info (where available), along with the ability to store up to 18 of your favourite AM/FM stations, the MM50 gives you all the access you would expect of a larger unit. Bluetooth compatibility allows you to stream top-quality audio from compatible devices and a USB 2.0 direct-digital connection accesses music files on your USB storage device or compatible smart phone.

NMEA-2000® certified compatibility provides the user with full control of their digital audio content via select multifunction displays.

There are three remote controller options (each sold separately) to help you create a versatile audio command centre: The MMR-10W wireless remote controller system, the MMR-20-BE wired remote controller and the full function MMR-40 NMEA2000 Network controller with LCD display.
