The prestigious Cannes Yachting Festival has chosen Riviera’s brand new 72 Sports Motor Yacht to headline their exceptional showcase this year. The proudly Australian motor yacht builder Riviera will display three of their yachts at the European festival from 11 to 16 September 2018, including the 72 Sports Motor Yacht, her sister, the 68 Sports Motor Yacht and the 5400 Sport Yacht.

Rodney Longhurst, owner of Riviera proudly stated, “our new Sports Motor Yacht Collection is the result of extensive consultation with highly distinguished international designers, technicians and engineers combined with extremely experienced Riviera owners who were seeking a new style of motor yacht.

“Their dream was a blue-water yacht that combines speed and sport fishing and other water sports capabilities with the exceptional comforts of a foredeck entertainment centre, fully enclosed flybridge with internal stairs, a covered mezzanine dining area, ultra-luxurious interiors and the confidence of high bulwark and wide side decks. This new Sports Motor Yacht comprehensively delivers on their dream motor yacht.

“These motor yachts are brilliant examples of Riviera’s evolution and constant refinement across our five collections.”

The headlining Riviera 72 Sports Motor Yacht is a symbol of luxury. She offers incredible sport performance and ultimate comfort for guests onboard. Comprising four staterooms, including the master suite, three bathrooms and generous cockpit. The focus on entertainment is evident as you enter the teak-laid mezzanine level and gourmet galley.

Base power is provided by twin MAN V12-1550 engines (2 x 1140kW/1550hp) and options of MAN V12-1800 engines (2 x 1324kW/1800hp) or MAN V12-1900 engines (2x 1397kW/1900hp).

Also appearing at the festival is the 72’s sister, the Riviera 68 Sports Motor Yacht, which equally promises sport performance with remarkable luxury and comfort. The 68 Sports Motor Yacht matches her sister’s potential for entertaining possibilities. There is a barbeque with twin barbeque grills, a sunken entertaining area seating eight at the foredeck, and an elevated alfresco mezzanine forward of the cockpit that offers an undercover dining area. Lounges decorate the entire starboard side for ultimate chill space and a second alfresco dining on the rear deck.

The Riviera 5400 Sport Yacht is also scheduled to shine at this year’s festival and is a luxurious delight. Encompassing three staterooms, two bathrooms and spacious forward deck sun lounge. Entertaining is the key to enjoying this luxurious sport yacht.

The French Riviera will sparkle in September under the Summer sun and Riviera is set to be the star.
