The Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS) is delighted to welcome Riviera Australia, who will host their annual Festival of Boating event at this year’s show.

The International Boat Show will hit sunny Queensland again this May, between the 23rd and 26th. Riviera Australia announced recently that their popular Festival of Boating event will be held as part of their company exhibit at the SCIBS. This will be the first time in a few years that Riviera will be exhibiting at the SCIBS.

Riviera has confirmed that they will be displaying 11 boats at this year’s show, of which four boats will be unveiled for their world premieres.

While Riviera has changed the location of their Festival of Boating event, the festival’s Riviera and Belize seminar program and hands-on workshops will go ahead as per usual, to be held at the nearby InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort as well as onboard the Riviera Motor Yacht Club and multiple yachts on the water.

“Sanctuary Cove offers our guests and Riviera and Belize owners an incredible array of venues to experience the boating inspiration, education and fun that the Festival of Boating has become famous for,” Riviera owner Rodney Longhurst stated.

SCIBS general manager Johan Hasser is delighted by the partnership and suggested that Riviera’s decision to host its festival and multiple world launches at Sanctuary Cove was a huge boost for the event.

“We are thrilled that Rodney and his team have chosen SCIBS as the venue for the 2019 edition of the Riviera and Belize Festival of Boating,” Hasser said.

“The Festival has a proud history and we look forward to working with Riviera to ensure that its future is just as bright at Sanctuary Cove.”

The Riviera display will be located at the end of the Sanctuary Cove Marina’s Pier F.
