The highly anticipated Rosehill Trailer Boat Show is just around the corner.

Not too many sleeps until Rosehill Gardens Racecourse plays host again to the Rosehill Trailer Boat Show. During the weekend of the 6th and 7th of April 2019, between 10am and 5pm each day, more than 30 exhibitors will display over 250 boats. The event is free to enter, and parking is also free.

Rosehill boat show is back

Trailer boating has been peaking in popularity in recent times, with the choice and accessibility better than ever in this section. With the recent innovations in trailer technology, engine types and access ever improving along boat ramps across the state, more boating enthusiasts are turning to the trailer boat section than ever before. With the event a staple on the boating calendar, the Rosehill Trailer Boat Show is expecting record crowds.

President of the Boating Industry Association Ltd, Alan Blake, who is staging the event, said trailer boats remain the most popular class of motorised boating in Australia. “The Rosehill Trailer Boat Show will again this year bring together the leading dealers from across Sydney and beyond, all ready to make a deal with existing boat owners wanting to make a trade-in, or with new boaties doing some research or making their first purchase. Visitors may even consider a pre-loved boat,” he said. “This is Sydney’s own trailer boat show where all the questions about owning a trailer boat can be answered.”

The star attraction returns again this year, with the show hosting the largest fishing demonstration tank in Australia. The tank sits at 15 metres long and holds a whopping 14,500 litres of water. Full of live fish, the tank offers an educational and closeup experience with some beautiful creatures.

NSW Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) will also be present at the show and will be holding their ‘Lifejacket Self-Service Clinics’. These important clinics are designed to instruct boaters on how to carry out a simple pre-wear check before use, and how to service their own inflatable lifejackets.

The exhibition will be held in the Grand Pavilion in the Gardens for the first time this year. A huge double-story indoor space, perfect for the show. From bowriders, tinnies, jet skis, fishing rods, tackle and plenty of accessories, there will be something for every boat lover.

Visiting the Show has never been so easy. Free entrance, free parking and the Rosehill train station a stone’s throw from the entrance, access is easy and inviting. As the longest running boat show in NSW, the Rosehill Trailer Boat Show is a well loved and respected event and promises all the latest and greatest boating and fishing features and family fun.
