Ever wanted the perfect dinghy that covers your inshore fishing or crab potting operations? One that also doubles as the perfect travel companion? Savage have you covered with their most audacious punt-style dinghy yet, the Raptor Extreme.

The Raptor Extreme is a v-nose punt dinghy which sits on a new design that increases the internal freeboard. This is achieved due to higher sides and greater beam making it suitable for river, creek and estuary fishing. The added safety of a deeper boat make the Raptor Extreme suitable for all ages.

Savage have launched two new models, the 355 and 375 with 15 hp and 20 hp ratings respectively. For hardy travellers, the Savage Raptor Extreme will sit on a camper trailer making it a great choice for your adventures. On a trailer or as a cartopper, this dinghy is a capable fishing platform or for general boating activities in a wide variety of enclosed waters. The 355 weighs 84 kg while the 375 is 92 kgs so a boat lift will be necessary in most cases.

The Raptor is ready to hit the water straight out of the box with grab rails for loading, anchor storage and a deep floor for comfort while on the water. In addition, this model has large front and rear bench seats with plenty of room in the centre for fishing and crabbing.

The wider Raptor family consists of the Savage Raptor, Raptor Extreme and Raptor Pro covering 3.5m all the way up to 4.4m models. They comprise a versatile group of dinghies from an adventurer, to a work horse, from the rainforests in Northern Queensland, to the lakes across Western Australia.

‘Savage now has the most complete line-up of dinghy’s in Australia with the addition of the Raptor Extreme’ said Nick McCartney National Sales Manager for Savage Boats. ‘This dinghy has the most volume in our cartopper line-up and is ideal for Australian Adventurers.’

‘I can picture this boat in so many places, whether it be a kid who just graduated to a full-size dinghy, or a kid at heart who can’t get enough of the water’ said McCartney.
