The year is almost ended and its time to relax and enjoy the boating life, yet some of us are already planning for 2019. Sirocco Marine and BRIG are one of them. They have already started planning for Sanctuary Cove 2019, securing a bigger space and displaying a larger range. Not to mention, planning a massive Dock Party and offering a magnificent prize package.

Sirocco Marine North have been there since 2005 and in may 2019 will display no less than 30 rigid inflatable boats from the BRIG, Williams and Sirocco brands, including the Williams Minijet 280 and Williams Turbojet 325 plus the all-new BRIG Eagle 8, Eagle 6 and Eagle 5.

The models from BRIG have undergone a transformation with a complete redesign of the hull based on owner feedback gathered from all parts of the world.

The line-up extends to the flagship, Eagle 10. A 10 metre luxury centre console RIB with seating down the back.

Features include comfortable seats, a convertible table and sun deck, a sink unit that can accommodate a fridge/stove, a convenient stern swim platform with folding ladder and outdoor shower kit, plus a well-appointed cabin complete with double bed. And a top speed close to 60 knots.

The Eagle 8 slides in just beneath the flagship and has a length of 8m, beam of 2.9m and boasts an efficient deep-V hull for unparalleled sea-keeping, handling and performance. It will fit 11 people onboard making it not only a handy larger format tender, but a fun packed machine in its own right.

It is powered by a Yamaha 300hp four-stroke engine, delivering phenomenal speeds beyond 50 knots!

BRIG’s range has been entirely designed and built in Europe by an expert team, including ex-military aeronautical engineers. It is the highest selling brand in many territories including parts of Europe including Sweden, Holland and Finland. It is also the number one selling RIB brand according to BRIG in Australia.

They use ORCA Hypalon from France, Italian steering wheels, fiberglass hulls and Silvertex UV and water-resistant upholstery fabrics from the UK.

With 26 models in the range, BRIG has a RIB for every on-water application.

As Sirocco Marine Managing Director, Neil Webster explained: “Our customers in Australia and the US tell us the product is superb quality, a great price, great performance, support and service that are second to none – BRIG ticks all the boxes.”

Director of Sirocco Marine North, Dylan Lopez is planning to “go huge” at SCIBS 2019.

“We are planning our largest ever display and a brilliant promotion where one lucky visitor can win a 3.1m Air Hull Sirocco RIB.

“Simply drop by our stand, pick up a BRIG hat and snap a photo in front of our BRIG media wall. Upload your pic to our Facebook page with #BRIGQLD and your comments, and the winner will be announced on Sunday at 2pm.”

Still under wraps, the BRIG Dock Party is shaping up to be an epic event, with a great mix of VIPS, owners and guests, plenty of food and beverages, plus a rocking band getting SCIBS started right on the Thursday night.

“Follow us on Facebook for details about the BRIG Dock Party and how you can join us in the BRIGest event of the year!” said Dylan.
