Williams Performance Tenders is primed to expand its factory and workforce during 2015.

Following on from a successful 2014 that saw an increase in business from volume sailboat manufacturers, the jet tender specialist will expand its factory in Oxford by 6,000 square feet and will employ 5 more staff members.

Last year was a big year for Williams, it also won the Sunseeker Supplier of the Year award at the 2014 Southampton Boat Show

Founded in 2004 by brothers Mathew and John Hornsby, its Dieseljet and new Sportjet ranges have been in demand by many manufacturers including Hanse and Group Beneteau, Princess and Sunseeker.

These manufacturers have designed their garages specifically to fit a Williams tender.

Mathew Hornsby, sales director at Williams said, “2014 was an incredible year for Williams, with the world launch of our new Sportjet range at the Yachting Festival de Cannes and our fantastic 10 year celebration. We also saw our best results yet at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show in October. We are starting 2015 in a strong position and are very excited about what the year ahead will bring. We look forward to welcoming talented new members of staff to the team and continuing to grow the Williams brand.”

The company currently employs 50 staff at its Oxfordshire base, producing up to 700 boats per year and had a turnover of £11.2M in 2013.
